This notice explains what happens to your personal information when you use cardovin-capsules.lat/za/. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA); the regulator is the Information Regulator.

Who is the responsible party?

What personal information do we process?

  • Orders: name and cellphone number.
  • Contact form: name, cellphone or email, topic and message.
  • Security data: IP address, browser and estimated country; IP addresses are shortened in our logs.

We do not collect health information: we never ask about illnesses or treatments. Please leave such details out of messages.

POPIA’s eight conditions, in plain words

  1. Accountability — the responsible party above answers for this processing.
  2. Processing limitation — only what is needed, with your consent.
  3. Purpose specification — to pass on your order, reply to you and stop fraud.
  4. Further processing limitation — no other uses, no selling of data.
  5. Information quality — the form checks your number so the call reaches you.
  6. Openness — this notice.
  7. Security safeguards — encrypted connection, restricted logs, masked numbers in internal alerts.
  8. Data subject participation — your rights below.

Direct marketing

Your number is used only for the call about the order you requested. It is not used for marketing (POPIA section 69).

Who receives it?

  • Cardovin, who confirms and delivers the order;
  • the affiliate network Limonad, which passes the order to the seller;
  • the internal messaging service that alerts us about orders and messages (Telegram): for orders, the masked phone number and the initial of the name; for contact messages, the name, contact and text, so that we can reply;
  • our hosting provider and Cloudflare (security and delivery of the site).

Transfers outside South Africa (section 72)

Limonad, Telegram, Cloudflare and our host store data outside South Africa. The transfer is necessary to carry out your request and is based on your consent; only the minimum information is shared.

Retention

Order and message logs are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically; the technical retry queue only until your order reaches the seller.

Your rights

You may request access to your information, its correction or deletion, and you may object to processing. Email [email protected]; we reply within one month. You may also complain to the Information Regulator.
