Cardovin is not a blood-pressure medicine
Let us be clear before anything else. Cardovin capsules are sold as a food supplement. The box itself says “Nutritional food supplement — not for medicinal use”. It has not been tested against high blood pressure in clinical trials, and nothing on this page suggests that it can take the place of the tablets your doctor prescribed.
If you have been told you have high blood pressure, the things that are known to work are the treatment your doctor chose, regular checks, less salt, more movement and no smoking. A supplement can sit next to that — never instead of it.

Cardovin price in Nigeria and how ordering works
One pack costs ₦49,000. It contains 20 capsules. At the dose on the label — two capsules a day — that is 10 days. Be honest with yourself about this: 10 days is a short course, and nobody can promise you a result from it.
The box shows “MRP ₹3990”. That is the Indian retail price in rupees printed by the manufacturer; it is not the price in Nigeria.

Cardovin ingredients (Nigerian pack)
The label lists four active ingredients. Amounts are given per serving of 2 capsules, which is one day’s dose. We describe what each one is and how it has been used — not what it might “do” for your blood pressure, because that has not been shown for this product.
Coenzyme Q10 60 mg
ubiquinone
A substance the body makes on its own and also gets from meat and fish. Sold worldwide as a stand-alone supplement.
Arjuna extract 200 mg
Terminalia arjuna
Bark of an Indian tree with a long history in Ayurveda, India’s traditional medicine system.
Moringa extract 200 mg
Moringa oleifera
The same leaf that is eaten as a vegetable across Nigeria — zogale in Hausa. Here it is used as a dried extract.
Lycopene 5 mg

Other ingredients: magnesium stearate, maltodextrin. Capsule shell: HPMC, a plant-based material. Made in India by Natcon Biolife Sciences for Greensource Wellness; the box carries Indian FSSAI licence numbers.
How to take Cardovin
The label gives one simple rule: one capsule in the morning and one in the evening, after a meal. Do not take more than that.

- Morning: one capsule after breakfast, with water.
- Evening: one capsule after your evening meal.
- Every day: keep taking your prescribed tablets and write down your blood-pressure readings.
- Storage: below 25 °C in a dry place, out of reach of children. Leave the silica gel pouch in the bottle.
If you forget a capsule, simply take the next one at the usual time. Never double up.
Precautions: who should not take Cardovin
Do not stop or change your blood-pressure treatment — amlodipine, lisinopril, losartan, hydrochlorothiazide or any other — unless your doctor tells you to.
- Not for anyone under 18, and not during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Arjuna may add to the effect of blood-pressure and heart medicines, so your pressure could fall further than intended.
- Coenzyme Q10 can weaken the effect of warfarin and may add to blood-pressure tablets.
- Moringa: take care if your pressure tends to run low, or if you use tablets for blood pressure or diabetes.
- Lycopene: caution if you take blood thinners (anticoagulants).
- Allergic to any ingredient? Do not use it. Measure your blood pressure regularly while taking any supplement.
When to see a doctor
These numbers are alarm thresholds, not a result of any product. A reading of 180/120 mmHg or higher needs a doctor urgently. If a high reading comes with chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body, trouble speaking or seeing, or a severe headache — call emergency services on 112 immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency unit.
What the science says
There are no published clinical studies of Cardovin as a product. For the individual ingredients, research on supplements and high blood pressure is limited, the effects seen are small and results are mixed. The US National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health sums it up plainly: no dietary supplement has been shown to work as well as the medicines used for hypertension, and treatment should stay with your doctor.

Original or fake: how to check your pack
- The box: black with a red band, “20 capsules | Dietary Supplement” at the bottom, and a red bottle inside.
- The side panel: a printed batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date. Check the expiry before you pay the rider.
- The channel: be careful with market stalls or social-media sellers offering a different price or a different pack.

Frequently asked questions
Does Cardovin cure high blood pressure?
No. Cardovin is a food supplement. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease, and there are no studies showing it changes blood pressure.
Can I take it with my blood-pressure tablets?
Only after asking your doctor or pharmacist. Arjuna and coenzyme Q10 can add to the effect of those medicines, and coenzyme Q10 can interfere with warfarin.
Can I stop my medication if I take Cardovin?
No. Never stop or change your blood-pressure medication without medical advice. Stopping suddenly can be dangerous.
Why does the box say ₹3990?
“MRP” is the maximum retail price that Indian law requires on packs, written in Indian rupees. It has nothing to do with the price in Nigeria. The price here is ₦49,000, confirmed by the agent on the phone.
Is it the same product as in South Africa?
No. The South African Cardovin is a different formula with different ingredients, made in Pretoria and sold in packs of 30. This page describes only the Nigerian pack made in India.
Is Cardovin sold in pharmacies?
No. You will not find it at HealthPlus, MedPlus or other pharmacies. It is ordered by phone and paid for on delivery.
